Logical conclusion
Dave is trying to make a point to frame the question, and create a structure for the answer.? Those who already have their narrative, won't listen to his point.
Anyway, to the logical conclusion: only look at performance in innings where your team scored, while occuring in games your team won. And not only that, you had to play a role in scoring the run or moving over the baserunners that eventually scored.
Essentially, Runs Scored + Runners Driven In + Runs Assisted On, in games where your team won.
