Hannibal v Seeing Things
Non-sports post.
Back in the 1980s, we had a show in Canada called "Seeing Things". It was about a reporter who sees visions of what happened, as he discovers new clues. The show itself had many comedic elements, though it was billed as a drama. NBC's Hannibal uses the same premise, except the FBI agent in this role is a pretty tortured soul. And it has the story arc that Hannibal is always present. So, it's a show with many horror elements, though it's billed as a drama.
I'm not sure I'm up to making this appointment TV, like Justified, The Americans, and Game of Thrones. I don't see how they can build it up enough to maintain suspense, to give me that payoff. But, let's see. I know Sepinwall thinks that it can be that riveting.
