“As of” v “After”
If I see "as of" I take it to mean that STARTING WITH that date, the condition is now in effect.?
However, as made very clear here:
Optimum Rewards will extend the movie discounts and Free Movie Tuesdays at Clearview Cinemas through the end of May 2013 to Optimum Rewards members.
You would think that SOMEONE at Cablevision would care about making sure to get the message out in a clear manner, and change "as of" to "after".
