History of AVM Systems

A terrific look by Ben. A lot of what Ben writes about AVM applies to when the company I worked for back in 2006-08 was trying to get into the hockey game.  We were pretty successful back then, but it only worked because we had former GM Mike Smith pitching for us.  That was so important.  Without him, no one would talk to us.  And something Ben said about us being the only ones to do this would scare teams, because we were the only ones doing this at the time. And another thing Ben said was true with us, that we would only sell to one or two teams per division.  That was part of the deal, so they can feel that had the competitive advantage. Anyway, so much that Ben wrote, and I was nodding along: yeah, that's how it works!
