Aggregated Fielding Metrics
?While Fangraphs has been offering this for a few years, SABR has widened the scope, and Rawlings has given it power. Giving 25% weight to a metric is a paradigm shift.
What I'd like to see is how this would have affected past results. This should be job one for the SABR committee to release historical results, at least for the last few years, and as far back as 2002 or so.
