Math shortcuts
?If you have to do
a / (a+b)
But you don't want to repeat any terms, you can do this:
1 / (1 + b/a)
You can figure it out yourself, if you do a double reciprocal. Have fun working it out. Anyway, what if you wanted:
a^2 / (a^2 + b^2)
Well, it follows the same form:
1 / (1 + (b/a)^2)
And if instead of "2", you wanted the more accurate Pythag exponent of 1.82? Well, now you can use Runs scored, runs allowed, and the 1.82 exponent, and not repeat any of the terms.
