The Washington Nationals have re-signed catcher CJ Stubbs to a minor league contract, the 28-year-old backstop confirmed Monday afternoon on social media. Stubbs initially signed a minor league deal with the Nationals back in May, a week after he was released by the Houston Astros. Since he took part in the Astros' major league Spring Training camp in 2023 and 2024, Stubbs' new contract likely includes a non-roster invitation to the Nationals' own Spring Training camp in 2025.
