Composing and improvising since the 1990s. Harmonies, melodies and overall romantic feel. Avi played keyboards in various folk and rock groups, then for a long time led Messianic Jewish worship band at Beth Shechinah congregation in Calgary. Some songs are recorded with Rachel Hooker who sings, plays guitar and composes as well.
