Japan for the Anxious

So we're doing our first trip to Japan this March (Myself, Mrs. Mosley and our Japan-obsessed 15 year old daughter). I'm not the best in crowds, and though I was aware of how bad it can be in Tokyo, stuff I've read recently describes how it's gotten even worse. I'm looking for midsized Japanese cities to visit with interesting things to see and do. Nothing too remote, though. Thanks.

Miyajima in February?

I'll be in Japan in February and I'm wondering whether it's worth it to visit Miyajima island and the torii gate, given the typical weather that time of year. The plan is to take the train in from Kyoto, stay at a ryokan on Miyajima one night and then head out. I'd like to visit the Peace Park on the way to or from Miyajima, as well.

Artists’ & Writers’ Homes in Australia, New Zealand, and Japan?

Some of my favorite places in the world are preserved artists’, writers’, and collectors’ homes, including Barbara Hepworth’s garden in St. Ives, Kettle’s Yard in Cambridge, UK, and the Frida Kahlo Museum in Mexico City. I love seeing work in the environment it was created, and how real creative people lived. How can I find the 2023 Hiroshima Toyo Carp schedule in English?

We're going to Japan from May 27th-June 11th. I'd like to see a Hiroshima Toyo Carp game if possible. It seems the 2023 schedules are released, but I can't find them in English. Does anyone either: know where I can find the schedule in English; have a solid plan of where I can find it in Japanese and get it auto-translated; or speak enough Japanese to just tell me when the Carp are at home during that span?
