Avoiding Covid after exposure

I learned this morning that I had my closest known Covid exposure yet on Tuesday night. I'm testing negative and have no symptoms. What can I do now that might help my husband and me keep it that way? I'd love specifics on whether and how to do DIY saline gargles/rinses, a reliable source for Enovid if it's advisable, scientifically-sound supplements or vitamins that at least don't hurt, etc. [more inside]

What to do after COVID exposure?

My work requires us to be in the office, but outside folks are required to test. I was going to be in charge of escorting a new person into the office, and he tested positive for Covid on the 15 minute rapid tests. He immediately left, but I'm now left feeling unsure of the proper steps to take here, and how to protect myself and my partner. [more inside]

Why haven't I caught COVID?

For most of pandemic I've been working with the public, face-to-face, including a year at a COVID testing site, in and around Seattle. Has my constant but low exposure to COVID helped me fight it off? Or did I just get lucky? [more inside]

Ideas for eating lunch at work without risking covid exposure

My employer has decreed that now that Covid is over (oh, you sweet summer children), all employees are required to eat meals in "designated eating areas." I have been eating at my desk (off the clock) where I'm able to socially distance from my co workers, as opposed to a crowded communal lunch room. I'm looking for ideas of how to eat lunch and not risk exposure. Additional info below the jump. [more inside]
