Getting Mom On Board with In-Home Care

Recently my 62-year-old mom mom was hospitalized and committed due to—as best I can gather from a vague diagnosis—Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome (aka "wet brain") as a result of alcoholism, malnutrition and thiamine deficiency (Here's my previous question on this subject).
