Le site comprend des milieux humides et alluviaux situés au bord de la Dyle ou de ses affluents (Ruisseaux de Petite et de Grande Marbaise), à Pécrot.

o Présence d'anciennes prairies hygrophiles abandonnées dont la végétation a évolué vers la mégaphorbiaie, la roselière, la cariçaie, l'aulnaie ou la saulaie ; elles sont intéressantes pour les oiseaux aquatiques hivernants et migrateurs essentiellement ; Présence d'éléments du Ranunculion fluitantis, rares dans cette région ; Intérêt botanique non négligeable.
